Joining the Political Solutions Team in 2020, Yarelie Magallon serves as an Associate Lobbyist with a focused expertise on privacy, artificial intelligence, local government, and taxation issues.

Ms. Magallon helps clients navigate the California Legislature, demystifying the legislative and budget process while identifying key opportunities for engagement. With a lens of what matters most, Ms. Magallon advances client priorities through strategic planning, direct advocacy, coalition engagement, and drafting of communication materials.

Recognizing that in this line of work “your network is your networth,” Ms. Magallon aids in profile building for each client throughout the Capitol. She identifies key relationships within the Legislature, Governor’s Office, and state agencies and works to cultivate those connections over time, helping position clients for long-term success.

Outside of Political Solutions, Ms. Magallon serves on the board of Capitol Network, a non-profit organization that supports building professional networks among women in the California Capitol community and promoting philanthropy.

Ms. Magallon holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in American politics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
